Basketball
Tryouts:
Boys basketball tryouts will take place on Monday, August 14th, 2023 from 3-5pm. Girls basketball tryouts will take place on Tuesday, August 15th, 2023 from 3-5pm. A second boys tryout will take place on Wednesday, August 16th from 2:30-4:30pm. A final girls tryout will take place on Thursday, August 17th from 3-5pm. Students must attend the first tryout and qualify in order to be invited back for the second tryout. A final tryout for boys will take place on Friday, August 18th from 3-5pm. Students must attend the second tryout and qualify in order to be invited back for the final tryout.
Wear your PE uniform, and meet in the gym.
Practice:
Practices will begin on Monday, August 21st, 2023 from 3-5:30pm. Students must have a completed athletic registration packet turned in to begin practice. Practices will be from 3-5:30pm (2:30-5:00pm on Wednesdays) on the following dates- 8/21, 8/22, 8/23, 8/24, 8/25, 8/29, 8/30, 8/31, 9/1, 9/6, 9/13, 9/15, 9/18, 9/20, 9/22, 9/25, 9/27, 9/29 and 10/2.

Games begin on Tuesday, September 5th, 2023. Games are listed on our SGMS "Sports Calendar," as well as listed below.
